Welcome to Inclusion at Noya British School.

At Noya British School, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. We believe every child deserves to feel valued, supported and empowered to reach their full potential. Our inclusive approach ensures that all students, regardless of their unique needs, are provided with the opportunities, care and resources to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

What Does Inclusion Mean to Us?

Inclusion at Noya British School means embracing and celebrating the diversity of every child. It means creating a school environment where differences are not only respected but also used as strengths to enhance learning for all. Whether your child needs a little extra support or a highly tailored programme, we are here to work with you to ensure their success and happiness at school.

We understand that every child is different and their learning journey is unique. Our team of skilled and compassionate educators and specialists are dedicated to providing the right level of support at the right time, working closely with families every step of the way.

Our Support Framework

We use a three-tiered model to ensure that every child’s needs are met with care and attention:

At this level, all students benefit from an inclusive classroom environment that supports their learning and emotional well-being.

  • Our teachers use creative, adaptable teaching strategies so that every child feels engaged and challenged.
  • Classrooms are designed to be communication- and sensory-friendly to help children feel comfortable and focused.
  • Tools like the Zones of Regulation and calming spaces allow children to manage their emotions and feel safe at school.
  • Small adjustments, such as movement breaks or personalised learning tasks, ensure that every child can access the curriculum in a way that works for them.

For students who need additional help, we provide short-term, focused interventions to help them catch up, build confidence or develop specific skills.

  • This could include small group activities, speech and language programmes or social skills workshops like Lego Therapy or anxiety mapping.
  • Every child receiving Tier 2 support has a Documented Learning Plan (DLP), ensuring their needs are clearly understood and supported.
  • Our Inclusion Team closely monitors progress, keeping parents updated and involved.

For children with more complex or long-term needs, we provide highly personalised and specialised support.

  • This may include one-to-one assistance, tailored learning plans and input from outside specialists like speech therapists or occupational therapists.
  • We work hand-in-hand with families to create a plan that ensures your child’s specific needs are met.
  • Some of these services may involve external professionals and we are committed to being transparent with families about any associated arrangements. Trust, openness and collaboration are at the core of how we support every student.

A Partnership with Families

At Noya British School, we believe that parents and families are key partners in a child’s success. We’ll work closely with you to understand your child’s needs, strengths and goals. Whether it’s a casual check-in, a review of progress or planning next steps, our team is here to listen and collaborate with you.

We are proud of the trusting relationships we build with families. We aim to make every parent feel informed and involved in their child’s educational journey while ensuring all decisions are guided by what is best for the student.

Creating a Community for Every Child

At Noya British School, we are dedicated to creating a community where:

  • Every child is seen, heard and supported.
  • Learning is tailored to meet the individual needs of every student.
  • Families and staff work together to help every child achieve their personal best.

We believe inclusion is more than a policy—it’s the way we build a school where every child feels they belong and has the chance to thrive.
